The joys of Spain

What are the joys of Spain ? while everyone's list will be slight or in some case vastly different I am sure that many of the things i am going to mention will be on most peoples lists 

Joys of Spain 

• The great weather, and with many regions of Spain averaging upwards of 320 days of Sunshine an year and hot summers and mild winters this is often high up the list (yes Spain get Snow and yes there are areas of Spain with cooler and even cold winters and hot summers so the weather seems to cater for most tastes in that regard here in Spain ) 
• Culture, there is just to much to say on this to know where to start to do it justice, nut one thing which I think can be said in this section is often the Spanish people are very laid back and relaxed as , i am sure you will have noticed or heard said many times the pace of life in Spain is different to the UK 
• History , Well Spain has a very long history going back many many many years , with Roman history, for example in places like Cartagena OR Tossa de Mar to name just 2 places with Roman remains and lets not forget the Moors they had a big impact on Spanish history with many a modern day Spanish town and city tracing their roots back to been founded by the mores including Almeria , Albox ,Turre 
• Food , Tapas , Piella need I say ,more (I intend to expand this one into a blog of its own so watch this space)
• The people 
• The festivals ,One festival of many worth mentioning is the Moors v Christian festivals which regions and towns with a history in that conflict (which was a very long winded and long conflict ) have festivals to mark that aspect of their history each year,. there are many many more festivals worth a mention but this blog/article would never end but will will mention a few more in general. Spain Does Easter big time with many festivals and parades to mark each point of Easter. And lets not forget one of my favourite festivals the 3 kings parade which happens on 3 kings eve and is the last part of the Spanish Christmas. And in general the festivals are bright colourful and lively 
• Cost of living which are often lower than in many other European countries 
• Property cost  and as with the cost of living your money often go so much further when it comes to buying or renting property in Spain plus many homes and Villas have a pool in Spain
