A Few photos from the last 2 days at the #ERSRemovals Warehouse 

So Tuesday we had a delivery via Fedex (a sub contractor brought it) of a large 145kg item which we where acting as the delivery point it was collected today )
Wednesday a 26 ton Truck joined us to drop off a item , we where acting as both a drop off and tranship service on that one , as the truck could not reach the customer so the customer arranged us to receive and then deliver the sideboard (brand new in a box so we delivered it unpacked it and even took the Cardboard away for the client (as it will be used in the warehouse(recycling )

  • the vehicle must have on its insurance hire and reward 
  • Goods in transit insurance (ideally (thou not illegal not to have )
  • A operators licence (the one that lets you do paid other peoples goods internationally , in UK that is the standard International (different countries call it different things but it is still required)(they also need a Transport manager who holds a level 3 CPC (or their countries version )(and all international moves in vans and Trucks need an O licence (vans over 2500kg MAM )
  •  An Eori (2 one for the UK (even if they aint a UK company need it ) and 1 for the EU (EU one is need for the legally required ENS into EU and the UK one for the UK ENS into UK)
  • A GVMS account so they can do the legally required GMR and out of the UK (even when empty)
  • An account / or customs broker which allows them to do the legally required ENS  
  • customs brokers at the import country end and export end (this can be in house (but unaware of any removal companies personally with inhouse customs brokers ( but import to Spain as an example you need a Spanish broker or a broke with an office in Spain , o partnership with a Spanish Broker (and yes you need a UK agent to Export it from the UK ) (all loads must be exported from their leaving country and imported to their destination) 
  • If your move is been done in a lorry (thou for this purpose anything over 3501Kg is a lorry) the driver must have a Cpc 2 Drivers and must obey European Diving hours regulations (added this one as an example of the truck things that are needed )
