#coronavirus update
#Updated 13/05 * we have issues our covid 19 risk assessment which outlines any operational differences and steps we are as a company taking to limit the risks https://www.europeanrelocationservices.co.uk/ourblog/coronavirus-update *Operations are resuming the 15/05/2020 *As it stands the 14 day quarantine will not effect our moves as removals and freight/transport are exempt if this changes customers will be advised (Very unlikely) #Updated 23/04 The Spanish government have announced they are extending the Spanish Lockdown until at least the 9th May We where expecting this and had worked this date into our plans regarding clearing the backlog once we are able to safely and legally start again So nothing has changed regarding our procedures *But please be advised that there may be restrictions on our operations once we resume operation we will advise you of these once we know what they will be *Based on current indications As it stands things are looking very promising for us to resume operations on the 15th May #Update 26/03 We are still monitoring the situation regarding Corona virus within Spain , France and the UK/Europe We appreciate that people will have concerns and anxieties regarding their pre booked moves with ourselves, that where booked to be done on dates now within the lockdown period within Spain (and increased restrictions in the UK and France ) (Extended to at the moment the 12th April ) Rest assured that we are treating all booked jobs as postponed and not cancelled and we will resume working as soon as it is safe, practical and legal to do so We will work with all our customers to find dates that works with all parties And thank you in advance for your understanding and co-operation --------------------------------- Will update later today after we have heard the official announcement from the Spanish Prime minister We are still of course monitor the situation in Spain, France and the UK * #coronavirus update In light of the current and latest updates relating to the C19 Virus within Spain - France and the UK, (And Europe/World) we are reviewing the situation and formatting plans to allow us to limit the disruption and impact on our customers (This will be ongoing though out the current situation ) Unfortunately at this current time many things are outside of our hands and the situation is very fluid and changing/developing rapidly The current situation includes a lock down in Spain and France (As of 8am Est Monday 16th March) which has forced us on safety and legal grounds to postpone all jobs on the route leaving the 18/03 from Spain and leaving from the UK 21/03 (The current lockdown is scheduled to last until the 31/03/2020 (So as it stands should right now not effect any routes leaving Spain on the 1st April On wards however if this changes we will advise any effected customers ) These deliveries are not cancelled and are been treated by us as postponed/delayed we will work with all customers effected to find suitable alternative dates that work for us and them We apologises for the inconvenience but this insinuation is outside our control and all we can do is keep monitor the situation and advise you as things change Please note that the office side of things will still be operational as we work from home so customer message, enquires etc will still be dealt with and we are still taking bookings for April, May , June etc as it stands And we will return to normal full operations as soon as we are legally able to * #Update Evening we are closely monitoring the rapidly evolving situation and are aware of the many developments we will issue an update asap and will keep all our customers advised and updated as applicable #coronavirus update We are monitoring the current situation, and we are and will keep taking appropriate actions to protects our customers from any effects of it , through our operations, unless told otherwise as it stands any booked move or job will be done on the currently booked schedule, and until/or unless advised otherwise that will remain our position We will of course keep monitoring the situation and depending on developments revise our policy on this matter When people think of Spain they often think of Sun, Sea and Sangria,in other words the beaches and yes Spain has many many many miles of Lovely Coast and beaches and lovely coastal cities and towns there is loads more to Spain it is a varied land. Which is in fact for example the 2nd most Mountainous country in Europe second only to Switzerland Spain there for has many many ski resorts, in fact in some resorts cases you can ski in the morning and sun bath in the afternoon. And many mountains in Spain come all but to the beach so you can for example go walking in the mountains in the morning and sun bathing in the afternoon The point is that there is something for most people in Spain and every area has something to offer different people, it is a varied country *Here are the mountains behind Turre Spain where we are based (*European relocation services ) And as you can see in these pictures how close we are to the sea |
